Adult Achievement  Archery Program (AAAP) is for archers ages 21+.

AAAP meets weekly.  AAAP is offered on Mondays at either 4:00 or 5:30. AAAP incolves depth exploration of the National Training System (NTS).  NTS, the current model for shooting archery, was developed by US Head Coach, Kisik Lee.  Goal setting, mental management, and form practice with stretch bands are all part of AAAP. AAA Head Coach and ownder, Coach Kyle, a Level IV USA Archery Coach, runs the AAAP program.

AAAP archers regularly have opportunities to shoot for Stars Pins.  Stars Pins are pins that archers earn and affix to a special AAAP Lanyard.  Pins are awarded based on an archers ability to achieve a minimum score at a certain distance, on a specific target face size, and under tournament-like conditions.  Pins certainly are not the goal – but they sure are nice to remember your achievements!

  1. AAA will be charges $4.00 per Lanyard and $4.00 per Stars Pin.  Lanyards and Pins will not be awarded until payment is made.
  2. USA Archery requests that all JOAD/AAAP members at AAA also be members of USA Archery; when you register as a USA Archery member, list AAA as your home club. USA Archery Membership.

We request that AAAP applicants attend at least one, preferably two, of the non-AAAP General Group Sessions through Amherst Archery Academy prior to enrolling in AAAP.  Our wish is that students enter AAAP with a foundation of proper archery form and familiarity with range safety.  We welcome experienced beginners through advanced archers.

AAAP is a combined program with JOAD (the youth equivalent of AAAP). All students, in both JOAD and AAAP, are in the same class. Therefore, you can expect a multi-generational class (which we love!).
